A Soundplate Alternative for Spotify Playlist Submissions

Soundplate vs. SubmitLink: which fits your release?

Soundplate and SubmitLink both let independent artists pitch music to playlist curators for free. Soundplate is useful for browsing Spotify and Deezer playlists and submitting through individual playlist forms. SubmitLink brings playlist selection and response tracking into one campaign, with free submissions and an optional paid review route.

This comparison is published by SubmitLink. Soundplate’s submission details were checked against its official guides in September 2026.

How Soundplate playlist submission works

Browse Soundplate’s directory, choose a playlist that matches your song, and open its submission page. Soundplate’s guide describes signing into Spotify, automatically following the playlist and curator, then completing a form. It says artists receive an email if their song is added.

Soundplate submissions are free. Its submission limit varies with demand and curator queues, so check the limit shown when you submit. Soundplate Clicks Pro users can generate an unlock code for five additional submissions per day.

What you can do on SubmitLink

Start with one song and choose up to two eligible playlists for free every 24 hours. Listen to the playlists, review the available listener estimates and acceptance rates, and select the curators that fit your release. Track their responses from your campaign instead of maintaining a separate list of submission forms.

If you want to reach more curators, paid submissions cost $2–$5 USD per playlist. You choose the playlists and see the total before paying. Paid submissions cover review and consideration; the cost of any submission that goes unanswered after seven days is returned as SubmitLink credits. Free submissions do not include that response guarantee.

Bot-free playlists, reviewed by the artist.tools team

SubmitLink was created by the same team that made artist.tools; we’re sister companies. Our specialists combine hands-on playlist reviews with artist.tools data and ongoing monitoring to detect bot activity, artificial growth, and suspicious streaming patterns. We guarantee that the playlists you submit to through SubmitLink are bot-free.

Curators still choose songs based on musical fit. Our bot-free guarantee does not mean every submission will be accepted or that a placement will deliver a fixed number of streams.

Choose a submission workflow you will actually use

Soundplate is worth exploring if you want a free directory of Spotify and Deezer playlists and are comfortable submitting through individual forms. SubmitLink is a good fit if you want to inspect playlists, select your own campaign, track responses, and keep the option of paid reviews for a larger release.

You can use both. Keep a record of the playlists you have already pitched so you do not send the same release to the same curator twice. On either platform, genre, mood, and the music already in a playlist are more useful selection criteria than follower count alone.
