How Spotify playlist promotion works on SubmitLink
SubmitLink connects your song with independent Spotify playlist curators. You choose which playlists receive it, pay for their curators to review it, and follow the responses in your account. Each curator decides whether your song belongs on their playlist.
1. Add your Spotify song
Start with the Spotify link for the track you want to promote. Build the campaign around that song so you can choose playlists that suit its sound.
2. Choose playlists and review the cost
Browse and filter the available playlists, review their information, and select the ones you want to reach. SubmitLink can suggest matches for your song; you can add or remove playlists before paying.
3. Follow curator responses
Send your campaign and check your account for responses. Curators have seven days to respond. An acceptance means the curator has chosen to share your song; a decline means they reviewed it and decided it was not a fit.
How much does Spotify playlist promotion cost?
Paid submissions cost $2–$5 USD per playlist. Your total depends on the playlists you select, and you can adjust that selection before checkout. There is no subscription or fixed campaign package: you pay when you send a campaign.
For example, selecting ten playlists priced at $2 each gives a $20 USD submission total before any applicable discounts or credits. Choosing higher-priced playlists changes the total. The campaign builder shows the price for your own selection.
You can start with one paid playlist. Choosing more suitable playlists gives more curators the opportunity to review your track, but a larger campaign does not guarantee placements or streams.

Organic Spotify promotion: what you are paying for
Organic Spotify promotion aims to introduce your music to people who may choose to listen. On SubmitLink, that starts with independent curators considering your track for playlists that fit it.
The submission fee pays for review and consideration. It does not buy a playlist placement, a stream count, followers, or access to Spotify's editorial team. A curator can decline a paid submission, and listeners decide whether to keep listening even when a song is accepted.
If you are comparing Spotify promotion services, check what the price covers and how playlists are assessed. Promised stream counts and guaranteed paid placements are different from paying for a review. Spotify's guidance on third-party promotion explains why those promises matter.
Our bot-free playlist guarantee
SubmitLink was created by the same team that made artist.tools, our sister company. Our team specializes in detecting bot activity, artificial streams and artificial playlist growth. We combine artist.tools data with hands-on reviews and ongoing monitoring of every playlist offered through SubmitLink.
We guarantee that the playlists you submit to through SubmitLink are bot-free. Our team reviews playlist quality and investigates suspicious activity so you can focus on choosing the right audience for your music. Look for playlists whose sound and listeners fit your release, rather than choosing by follower count alone.
Concerned about playlists already featuring your music? Use our free Spotify bot checker as a starting point.
Is playlist promotion right for your release?
A campaign can be useful when you want independent curators to hear a song and you have a budget for that consideration. Choose relevant playlists, set an amount you are comfortable spending, and judge the campaign by curator responses and the listening activity you observe afterward.
A placement does not guarantee lasting fans or a return on your spend. Review your Spotify for Artists data alongside campaign responses, and keep playlist pitching as one part of your release plan.
If you want to try submitting before paying, explore free Spotify playlist submission. The free option has its own allowance and a selection of participating playlists.
Questions about paid playlist promotion
What happens if a curator does not respond?
If a paid submission goes unanswered after seven days, its cost is returned to your account as SubmitLink credits for future submissions. This is not an automatic refund to your payment card. A decline counts as a response, so it does not qualify for a nonresponse credit.
Can I choose every playlist in my campaign?
Yes. You can review the playlist selection and add or remove playlists before paying. Suggested matches help you start your selection; you decide which playlists receive your song.
Can you guarantee streams or playlist placement?
No. Curators make their own decisions, and an accepted song is not guaranteed a particular number of streams. SubmitLink also cannot guarantee placements on Discover Weekly, Release Radar, or Spotify editorial playlists.
Is this the same as pitching to Spotify's editors?
No. SubmitLink connects you with independent curators using your Spotify track link. To pitch an upcoming release to Spotify's editorial team, use Spotify for Artists. Editorial pitching is a separate process.
